Physiotherapy

Our firm is distinguished by its approach to active physiotherapy, combining manual therapy and rehabilitation. Our Physios master a range of techniques, from manual therapy to dry-needling, to acupuncture and kinesiotaping.

Each session is designed to be interactive and make the patient autonomous: so you will be guided step by step in our rehabilitation room to learn personalized exercises. This approach allows you to extend the benefits of treatment at home, promoting faster and more sustainable recovery.

Sport physiotherapy

Whether it's due to a rupture of the cross ligament or a meniscus injury, due to a dislocation of the shoulder or a sprain of the ankle, you will have to undergo regular physiotherapy treatment in the coming months. We are equipped and trained for this type of follow-up and we apply quality standards, notably through continuing training with the Hospital of the Tower.

BFR

BFR (Blood Flow Restriction) is a rehabilitation technique that partially restricts blood flow to a muscle. It allows to work with light loads while stimulating muscle growth and preventing atrophy. Ideal after an operation or for treating injuries, the BFR helps speed recovery while reducing stress on the joints. It is a valuable tool for physiotherapists in optimizing rehabilitation protocols.

Knee injury

Knee lesions are common and can greatly affect your quality of life. In Physiotherapy, we treat various pathologies such as ligamental sprains (LCA, lateral ligaments), meniscal lesions, rotulal tendinitis, rotulal chondropathy, arthrosis or post-operative suites.

Shoulder injury

The shoulder, complex and mobile joint, is prone to many lesions that can seriously hinder your daily life. In physiotherapy, we are confronted with a range of pathologies ranging from tendinous inflammations to joint instability. Among the most common problems are the damage to the rotator cap, frozen shoulders, dislocations, and damage to the glenoidal bourrelet (labrum). Whether as a result of trauma, overuse, or as part of post-surgical rehabilitation, each situation requires specific expertise.

Acupuncture & Dry-needling

Acupuncture is a thousand-year-old therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine aimed at harmonizing energy (Qi) circulating in the body. Based on the law of the five elements, it establishes links between organs, emotions and bodily areas. This method uses fine needles inserted at specific points to restore energy balance, thus acting in a preventive and curative manner. Acupuncture offers a natural and effective approach to improving overall health, complementary to physiotherapy care for active rehabilitation.

Dry-Needling

Dry Needling is a therapeutic method that uses single-use Acupuncture needles to treat pain and dysfunction in the locomotor system. This practice has no point in common with the classic Acupuncture, apart from the needle.

It is a technique discovered in the late 1970s by Dr Karl Lewit. In a clinical study on injection of Trigger Points, he noted that the injection itself improved the treatment of the point, not the substance injected.

The most common application of Dry Needling is the treatment of Myo-fascial Trigger Points. However, there are other indications such as scar pain or soft tissue, muscle contractions and tendinopathy.

This technique is used in addition to the treatment in Physiotherapy, with a fee reimbursed by the basic insurance LAMAL.
